Bicycling

Our island Töplitz has excellent bike paths for your bicycle trip. The tour goes along the Havel to the Göttinsea, to the Sacrow-Paretz cannel, along the orchards, to the Eichholzberg on the Schlänitzsea. Then you take the way over the bridge towards Potsdam or Werder. En route you will meet numerous species with a bit of luck. Deer, foxes, pheasants, storks, sea eagles and cranes are often seen by visitors and inhabitants on our island.

Across Golm you come to Potsdam-Sanssouci, where you can reach different sights by bike very well. Beyond the railway bridge you can visit the town Werder, where you can find a lot of little stores, cafes and restaurants. Here it’s worthwhile to visit the Zweirad-museum and of course you can buy fresh fish in the resident Havel-fishery.
